Mikel Arteta, born on March 26, 1982, in San Sebastián, Spain, is a former professional footballer and the current manager of Arsenal FC. Arteta began his playing career at the youth academy of Real Sociedad. He made his professional debut with the club before moving to Paris Saint-Germain in 2001.
After a stint in France, Arteta played for Rangers in Scotland. His time at Rangers included winning the Scottish Premier League and the Scottish Cup.
